⚖️ Legislative Regulations
In Slovakia, there is a limit on the number of foreign players in a team. According to the Sports Act SP SFZ, paragraph 5.3.3. of 23.06.2021, in the 2021/2022 season, 3 foreign players under the age of 21 may be registered for games in the Slovak Open Championship for one team.
📜 Special Provisions on the Transfer of Minor Players
A minor player is a natural person under the age of 18, unless, according to the applicable legal system governing the child, majority is reached earlier.
A youth aged 16 to 18 who attains majority as a result of marriage proves it by presenting a marriage certificate.
The transfer of a minor player may be carried out only with the consent of the player’s legal representative (an agent with notarized authorization or a legal guardian appointed by the court of the Slovak Republic).
The transfer of a minor player under the age of 15 is possible only in cases specified in paragraphs No. 5 and No. 6 (of the Sports Act) and is carried out exclusively within the self-governing region where the player has permanent residence or temporary registration.
🏠 Homestay Accommodation (Season 2026/2027)
Cost of homestay for 11 months: initial payment of 18,500 EUR, which includes a security deposit. Subsequent payments of 16,500 EUR are made monthly in advance. Homestay is paid per season, with a deposit applied.

- Medical migration examination (except for EU citizens)
- Issuance of a standard one-year insurance policy valid in the Slovak Republic
- Education in a private primary or secondary school, including payment for one academic year
- Entrance fee to a private primary or secondary school (gymnasium)
- Payment for textbooks for the season
- Payment for school events
- Payment for school meals
- Team membership fees
- Monthly public transport pass or transfer “school-home” during dark hours
- Weekend leisure activities according to host family schedule
- Club uniform:
Winter (warm jacket, hat, tracksuit)
Summer (2 T-shirts, shorts, cap, hoodie) - Transfers to and from the airport (Vienna/Bratislava) during school holidays
🏡 Accommodation Outside the Family (with Parents)
📅 Season 2026/2027: this accommodation option requires payment for two playing and study seasons at once, without a deposit.
- For non-EU citizens — 19,000 EUR
- For EU citizens — 17,000 EUR
